A Morning Walk that I took....
One morning, I had nothing much to do and wanted to take a walk around London to get rid of my boredom. I also had the time to map out my journey in Google Earth, so you can see what do people do when they finish their exams, rofl.
Of course, I've placed several placemarks and have taken a few pictures to see what goes on that day in that particular area. I started off from home...1. Leaving home
2. Passing by City University, quite empty when the exam season
is around....3. The Barbican, home to a concert hall and the most hideous high-rise apartments in Central London. I can't comment on Greater London apartments as I haven't been out of Central London, lol....
4. St Paul's Cathedral. They say that buildings should not be taller than the cathedral. Too bad, it's now dwarfed in height by the Gherkin and Natwest Tower, both nearby in the Square Mile....
Crossing Millennium Bridge....
...and arriving at Tate Modern, where the concept of modern art such as a headless bronze male statue are deemed art.
A random picture that I took while walking along the Thames Path, almost towards Waterloo....
The London Eye in the morning, there were crowds waiting to buy tickets already then!
Before crossing Westminster Bridge, I took this shot of the Houses of Parliament...
Walking past Whitehall, I ended up at Trafalgar Square and then to Leicester Square.
Leading to Soho Square and Oxford Street towards my way home...
Total time of the entire journey : 2 hours 33 minutes. Now thats how you waste an entire morning !!
